“Traffic”: Tinting violations will be applied to all violators, men and women, and these are the regulations for window tinting.
The General Directorate of Traffic confirmed that female drivers will not be exempt from certain traffic violations, such as vehicle window tinting. It clarified that the royal decree was explicit in applying the traffic law and its executive regulations equally to both men and women.
The Traffic Department stated that it will treat all drivers equally, regardless of gender, and that there are no exceptions. The system is clear and will be enforced on everyone.
It is noted that the Traffic Department requires private vehicle window tinting to be transparent and not obstruct visibility, allowing those inside the vehicle to be seen, and it must be applied only to the rear passenger side windows. Tinting is not permitted for taxis, daily rental vehicles, or cargo transport vehicles.
