Welcome to the Saudi Automobile Federation (SAF) application. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the application and the services provided through it, including services related to the issuance of International Driving Permits (IDPs) and Customs Passage Books (Carnets de Passages en Douane – CPDs, commonly known as “Triptyks”).
By using the application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the application.
By using the Saudi Automobile Federation (SAF) application, you confirm that:
You are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements and obligations in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
The application provides the following services:
Issuance of International Driving Permits (IDPs) in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations.
Issuance of Customs Passage Books (Carnets de Passages en Douane – CPDs/Triptyks) in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and approved procedures.
Tracking the status of applications and communicating with customer service regarding the services provided.
All services are subject to the applicable requirements, supporting documents, procedures, and regulations of the relevant competent authorities.
When creating an account on the application, the user must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, including their full name, mobile number, email address, National ID or Iqama details, and any other documents or information required to provide the requested service.
The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities carried out through their account. The user must immediately notify the Company if they suspect any unauthorized access to or use of their account.
Service prices are displayed in Saudi Riyals and include Value Added Tax (VAT), where applicable, unless otherwise stated.
The Company reserves the right to amend service prices in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies. The price applicable at the time the order is confirmed shall apply to that order.
An order shall be considered confirmed upon completion of the applicable order and payment procedures. A reference number will be provided to the customer.
Payment shall be made through the approved payment methods available through the application.
The customer may request cancellation of an order before the International Driving Permit or Customs Passage Book (CPD/Triptyk) has been printed, subject to the applicable terms and policies.
After the relevant document has been printed or issued, any cancellation or refund shall be subject to the nature of the service, the status of the order, and the applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
Fees for services that have been fully completed are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law or provided for under the Company’s refund policy.
The user agrees not to use the application for any of the following purposes:
Violating any applicable law or regulation.
Providing false, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information or documents.
Using documents or personal information belonging to another person without authorization or a lawful basis.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the application systems or tamper with its content or services.
Using the application for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Misusing the services or attempting to circumvent the procedures governing the issuance of documents.
Harassing, threatening, or causing harm to any user, employee, or service provider.
Using the application in any manner that may adversely affect its security, integrity, or availability.
All content available through the application, including logos, designs, text, images, data, and technical content, is owned by the Saudi Automobile Federation (SAF) or licensed to it.
No content may be copied, reproduced, reused, distributed, modified, or otherwise exploited without the Company’s prior written authorization, except where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
The Company uses reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information displayed through the application and the continuity of its services. However, the Company does not warrant that the application will be completely free from technical errors, interruptions, or service disruptions.
The Company shall not be liable for any delay in or inability to provide a service resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information or documents submitted by the user, or from circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control, to the extent permitted by the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The competent courts and judicial authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the use of the application, in accordance with the applicable rules of jurisdiction.
The Saudi Automobile Federation (SAF) reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in its services, applicable laws, regulations, or regulatory requirements.
Where material changes are made, users will be notified through an appropriate means in accordance with applicable requirements.
Users are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions periodically.
