Automatic detection of violations for using a mobile phone while driving and not wearing a seat belt.

The General Directorate of Traffic announced the enforcement of fines for using a mobile phone by hand while driving and for not wearing a seat belt automatically.

It also clarified that the seat belt violation is not limited to the driver only; it also includes the front-seat passenger in addition to the driver.

90,000 Saudi women have registered at the driving school in Riyadh... and places are available for people with special needs.
The Saudi Driving School at Princess Nourah University in Riyadh has seen over 90,000 Saudi women register, and the school has allocated spaces for people with disabilities.

Salwa Al-Zahrani, the training manager at the Saudi Driving School, told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper that the instructors work in two shifts, morning and evening, to accommodate the large number of registered women and to ensure training times are convenient for all employees and students.

40,000 women's licenses and 14 new schools
The Director General of Traffic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Major General Mohammed Al-Bassami, announced that the total number of licenses issued to women is more than 40,000, considering the experience of women driving to be one of the pioneering experiences, adding that driving schools for women are considered model schools and apply the international standard, and we are working on expanding women's driving schools.

Saudi Automobile Federation (SAF) is a member of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), which represents more than 230 automobile and motorsport clubs in over 130 countries worldwide.

The Saudi Automobile Federation (SAF) was established in 1988 under the presidency of Mr. Saif bin Fahad Al-Subaie.

Through its offices across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, SAF provides Carnet de Passages en Douane (CPD) and International Driving Permit (IDP) services, facilitating international travel for members and the general public with their vehicles through this extensive network of affiliated clubs.

The FIA aims to promote safe, sustainable, and accessible mobility for all, while supporting motorists and advancing the interests of road users worldwide.

The Saudi Automobile Federation is also a member of the Alliance Internationale de Tourisme (AIT) and the Arab Council of Touring and Automobile Clubs (ACTAC).
